Red Wing Trolley Company is owned and operated locally by
Curt and Karen Kline

Curt is a native of Robbinsdale, MN and Karen is a native of Red Wing, MN. We have lived in Red Wing for the past 35 years and have been entrepreneurs for most of our 38 years of married life.

We have owned Red Wing Mobility for the past 16+ years. This is a company that transports mental & physically handicapped individuals to medical appointments.

Several Red Wing downtown businesses were wanting to bring back a Trolley to Red Wing. It seemed that nobody knew exactly what happened to the old Red Wing Trolley. In the fall of 2008, after much researching, Curt decided to purchase a “Philadelphia” style trolley for all to enjoy. Karen wasn’t as “on-board” with the idea but decided to support her husband in his endeavor. So off we went to Omaha, NE where this “Philadelphia” style trolley was located. It originally was a working trolley on the streets of Philadelphia, PA and then sold to a party in Omaha, NE.

The winter of 2008-2009 was spent restoring the interior of the trolley to authenticate the Victorian era of Red Wing’s early days. We must say…it is quite grand!

Our daughter, Angela Hauschildt, came “on-board” early in 2009 to handle the marketing & tour operations. She is a vital part of the day-to-day operations.

Being family oriented…our focus is to provide affordable and fun family entertainment!
